Job Purpose Reporting to the Shift supervisor, certifying engineers will carry certification on the zones and areas assigned to them. You will liaise with the Check Manager and review and approve the work of mechanics where necessary. Job Responsibilities

• To carry out certification of work carried out in accordance with the scope and privileges of the authorisations held and in accordance with the company
• Supervising staff, in conjunction with a lead mechanic, allocated to the aircraft or zone that the Certifying Engineer is accountable for
• Ensuring that any significant findings that could affect the aircraft delivery are reported via the correct channels as soon as possible
• Ensuring that work is carried out in the most efficient manner, ensuring the aircraft turnaround times are met
• Perform maintenance on aircraft and certify for all work performed, ensure correct staging, manual references, tooling and materials used are captured and accurate detail is provided.
• Ensure continuity of work by completing the handover log and being available to give a handover at shift changes
• Ensuring spares are identified and provisioned in the most time efficient manner, to avoid any delays in defect rectification
• Keeping production boards up to date on a regular basis reflecting aircraft progress, critical item and timelines
• Completing the customer work pack and all associated paperwork in line with regulatory requirements and company procedures
• Ensure correct use and accuracy of the MRO system is maintained with regards to all maintenance activities.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory requirements and any associated changes in relation to EASA Part 145, Part M and Part 66
• Housekeeping, ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy as reasonably practicable
• Ensuring personal licence and authorisation remain valid
• Ad hoc project work as required within the scope of the role

Qualification & Education:

• A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
• EASA Part 66 Licence, B1 on at least 2 aircraft types on company’s approval

Experience:

• Full understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145
• Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience of certifying aircraft with an EASA Part 66 Licence and appropriate company authorisation
• Proven leadership skills
• Experience of supervising departmental Health & Safety & Compliance
• Completed IOSH working safely course is desirable

Training & Knowledge:

• Technical experience in aviation and able to demonstrate knowledge of airworthiness regulation, MOE, MEL and its use, SRM understanding and the limits of technical data and the impact of that.
• Have a working knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Production Planning;
• High standard of English language (written and oral)
• High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite

Job Description  As a Mechanic you will be reporting to and working with the leading mechanic and certifier on the zone/aircraft as allocated. Your Responsibilities will be:

• Complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures.
• Observe and adhere to the company Tooling Policy at all times.
• Maintain awareness and ensure best practises are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the Chevron MOE.
• Ensure that you keep your personal work area, hangar bays and facility clean and tidy at all times.
• Notify the company of any significant findings as soon as possible.
• Raise a safety report on identifying any hazard or the following of an incident.
• Hold a Chevron Mechanic Authorisation.
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by Chevron

Additional Requirements:

• A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
• Have extensive knowledge of Base Maintenance activities with hands on working experience
• Good standard of written/ spoken English including the ability to interact at a technical level
• Good Computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, excel etc.

You must have the right to work in the UK – Proof will be required at the scheduling interview stage

Job Purpose Working with and under the guidance of the Certifying Engineer on the zone/aircraft as allocated. Supporting them with all aspects of Aircraft Maintenance performed by the Company. The role will involve having an in depth understanding of the structural repair manual, along with the necessary hand skills to complete complex repairs on a variety of aircraft. Job Responsibilites

• Perform sheet metal work activities on fabricated parts including assembly fixtures, drilling, deburring, filling insets and general SMW activities
• Maintain work area, equipment and records to be audit ready
• Manufacture and fabricate aircraft SMW parts, panels, doors etc from various services aircraft. Determine type and extent of repair or replacement required, type of material and repair methods to use. Lay out, cut from, join, assemble and install items
• Ability to understand and interpret customer specifications and technical drawings
• Be able to carry out maintenance, repairs, fabrication of parts and /or production tasks to the standard specified in the technical data and notify supervisors of defects or mistakes requiring rectification. This may include (but is not limited to):
• Cleaning, re-protecting, painting, finishing, cutting, grinding, blending, forming (of metal), measuring, removal/installation of fasteners, sealing, drilling.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the company MOE
• Ensure correct use and accuracy of the MRO system is maintained with regards to all maintenance activities.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory requirements and any associated changes in relation to EASA Part 145, Part M and Part 66
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of requirements and any associated changes in relation to company health and safety policies and procedures as they apply to aircraft maintenance operations, with specific focus on working at height and the use of plant & machinery
• Ensure activities meet with and integrate with company requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care
• Maintain the highest airworthiness, quality, safety and performance standards and ensure all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft maintenance and inspection are complied with
• Maintain an up-to-date aircraft maintenance logbook to demonstrate level of experience and competence gained through the completion of a variety of tasks
• Hold and maintain a valid Company Aircraft SMW authorisation
• Perform general husbandry/housekeeping, ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy as reasonably practicable
• Ad hoc project work as required within the scope of the role

Qualification & Education:

• A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar

Experience:

• Understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145
• Proven work history in a base maintenance/ aviation environment
• Excellent SMW hand skills

Job Purpose Responsible for the day-to-day management of aircraft maintenance input ensuring all materials, resources and facilities required to deliver the check on time, at the right cost and to the required standard are available. The Check Manager will be the principle point of contact for the customer ensuring that all customer expectations are fully met. Responsible for ensuring all Regulatory requirements and company procedures are adhered too along with all health and safety requirements Job Accountabilities

• The on-time delivery of customer aircraft to the agreed budget and to the required standard to the satisfaction of the customer
• Use C-certification privileges to Issue a Certificate of Release to Service following base input
• Management of the customer work pack and all associated paperwork in line with regulatory requirements and company procedures, and issue of the final CRS post maintenance
• Ensure that the standard of paperwork and handovers is as per company policy.
• Attend customer progress meetings and to update and report to the customer the progress of maintenance inputs.
• Attend planning pre input meetings for aircraft inputs.
• Ensure that there is awareness for human factors in the workplace and these are taken into consideration.
• Management and control of departmental expenditure within the agreed budget
• Ensure correct use and accuracy of the MRO system is maintained with regards to all maintenance activities
• Management, development and training of direct reporting staff using performance appraisals and competency assessments
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory requirements and any associated changes in relation to EASA Part 145, Part M and Part 66

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge Qualification & Education:

• A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
• EASA Part 66 Licence, B1 or B2 and C Licence holder on at least 2 aircraft types on company’s approval

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years management experience within P145 base maintenance, preferably managing other Licensed Engineers
• Hands on experience of certifying Aircraft with an EASA part 66 licence and appropriate company authorisation
• Full understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145
• Proven leadership skills
• Experience of managing departmental Health & Safety & Compliance
• Completed IOSH managing safely course

Training & Knowledge:

Communication and Working Relationships Internal Senior Management: The Certifying Engineer shall provide information to Senior Management as required Mid-Management: The Certifying Engineer shall provide information to, Commercial Manager and Base Maintenance Manager as required Lower levels: The Certifying Engineer shall provide information to Planning, Production and Safety and compliance departments as required External The Certifying Engineer shall liaise with Chevron Management, planning, procurement and program managers concerning all requirements, ensuring all are correctly interpreted and processed. Budget accountability: The Certifying Engineer does not have any budget responsibility but must understand and manage the budget ascribed to the hangar. Operating Environment The role is based in a hangar environment. On a 5 on 4 off shift pattern, from 07:00 – 19:00 12-hour shifts. Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge Qualification & Education:

The shift supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the shift resources are allocated efficiently. In support of the Aircraft Check Manager the Shift Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring company procedures are adhered to, along with all stated health and safety requirements. Job Accountabilities

• To stand in for the Aircraft Check manager when required
• The on-time delivery of customer aircraft to the required standard to the satisfaction of the customer
• Management of the customer work pack and all associated paperwork in line with regulatory requirements and company procedures and if required, the issuing of the final CRS post maintenance.
• Controlling, supervising, and allocating work tasks upon the shift
• Ensure correct use and accuracy of the MRO system is maintained with regards to all maintenance activities. This includes ensuring all shift members use the MRO system to accurately book their time to the correct aircraft/maintenance task.
• Supporting the Check Manager in the management, development and training of direct reporting staff using performance appraisals and competency assessments
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory requirements and any associated changes in relation to EASA Part 145, Part M and Part 66
• Perform maintenance tasks and certify using privileges of part 66 licence.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of requirements and any associated changes in relation to company health and safety policies and procedures as they apply to aircraft maintenance operations, with specific focus on working at height and the use of plant & machinery.
